Laoting Hospital of traditional Chinese medicine was established in July 1985. It is the only  Secondary-level hospital of traditional Chinese medicine in  Laoting County, with integration of medical services, teaching, research , prevention，health care , technical guidance of traditional Chinese Medicine and emergency treatment. It is Hebei province Demonstration Hospital of traditional Chinese medicine culture construction; Hebei province "12th Five-Year" standardized County Hospital of traditional Chinese medicine.

　　2012, March 28, it moved to a new site. The new hospital covers an area of 80 mu, with a total construction area of 26196 square meters. There are a four-storey outpatient building, three-layer medical and building, eight-layer ward building, and 2 three-storey auxiliary building. It has more than 300 staffs, 260 beds, 6 wards，namely ，encephalopathy ward, cardiology ward, oncology ward, surgical ward, obstetrics ward and Gynecology ward and comprehensive ward. It has clinical, nursing, medical workers and service functions, more than 50 departments. It has MRI, CT, automatic biochemical analyzer, herbal fumigation machine, decocting machine and other large and medium sized medical equipment more than 100 sets.

　　In 2015, the hospital business revenue was 57 million 740 thousand RMB. There were125610 attendances at out-patient and 7053 hospital admissions. In 2016，in the first half of this year，the hospital business revenue was 38 million 444 thousand RMB, cent year-on-year growth of 36.1%, 74428 attendances at out-patient, 4401 hospital admissions.
